Monday, 17 September 2012

HRH PROG  launches a new interactive festival in proud association with PROG Magazine on April 6th / 7th at MAGNA in Rotherham

The Successful Hard Rock Hell weekender team is pleased to announce a new weekend boutique festival called HRH PROG which is proudly sponsored by PROG Magazine and takes place at the Magna Science Adventure in Rotherham on April 6th / 7th 2013.

Jonni Davis CEO of Chic Festivals, the company behind all the HRH events, said " We have always felt that the UK market was missing a dedicated PROG festival and as huge fans of the genre we wanted to put on something that honoured the world of PROG both old and new and that draws from all corners of it and that not only embraces the old but also that celebrates the new. We also felt it needed a special location to house this style of event and the Magna Science Adventure, being a renovated Steel foundry with all its different  interactive zones, we felt it to be the perfect setting to stage this new experience.".

First acts to be announced to play next April 6th and 7th are Masters of the Universe "Hawkwind" who will look to bring a special classic set of their finest Space rock anthems to the weekend.
