Joining The Skys will be homegrown Prog Metallers Collibus, who are still reaping the rewards from their 2014 release “The False Awakening”.
Hailing from the underground Manchester metal scene, Collibus is a five-piece female-fronted progressive metal band of tour-de-force proportions.
Having won the 2013 Parliamentary Rock the House Discretionary Metal Award, Collibus made history by becoming the first heavy metal band ever to play a set in the House of Commons; had the music video for their winning track Dead Inside featured on Scuzz; and released their debut album The False Awakening all in a matter of months.
The January debut album launch was impressively followed by a quick succession of major festivals snapping up Collibus onto their lineup – with Download Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, Sonisphere Festival, Wacken Open Air & Bloodstock Open Air all signing the band so far in 2014.
Also joining the guys will be 90’s Prog heroes Jump, the eclectic British rock band formed 1990 in High Wycombe. With twelve studio albums under their belts, the band has a reputation for excellent live shows. More than 1000 concerts have honed their skills and they show no sign of wavering!
Black Peaks ( formerly known as Shrine)
A cross between aggressive hardcore, the grandeur of post rock and the atypical characteristics of math rock.
BBC RADIO 1 Zane Lowe
"Exceptional - Just exceptional"
BBC RADIO 1, Daniel P Carter
"Three tracks of spasmodic, elastic and intricate prog, from Brighton, that peak with sky-reaching screams and plunge on the minor chord. Primus meets The Ocean in a short, sharp shock of a record."
"a proggy, math riff-oriented mix of rock and metal that knows how long to linger on the melodies and when to descend into darker, sludgier ways."
And finally added to the line-up the return of our psychedelic Prog Rockers…….
